Market Capitalization

Total value of all Bitcoin in circulation, calculated as current price multiplied by circulating supply.

Market cap is a key metric for comparing cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin typically has the highest market cap, often referred to as "crypto dominance." A higher market cap generally indicates a more established, less volatile asset.

ExamplemarketCap: 1327000000000 ($1.33T)

Trading Volume (24h)

Total value of Bitcoin traded across all exchanges in the last 24 hours.

High trading volume indicates active markets and good liquidity. Low volume can mean difficulty buying or selling without affecting the price. Volume often increases during price movements.

Examplevolume24h: 28500000000 ($28.5B)

Price Change (24h)

Percentage change in Bitcoin price compared to 24 hours ago.

This metric shows short-term price movement. Positive values indicate price increase (bullish), negative values indicate decrease (bearish). The changeDirection field provides a simple "up", "down", or "unchanged" indicator.

Examplechange24h: 2.34 (up 2.34%)
